David Bacon’s new book, In the Fields of the North / En los
Campos del Norte, came out on May 1. Published by the University of California
Press and Colegio de la Frontera Norte, the book is “an intensive
look at farm workers, documenting work life, living conditions, culture and
migration through over 300 photographs and many narratives of workers
themselves, in both English and Spanish.”
David is a photographer and journalist with years of experience covering labor and immigration developments. He'll be giving book talks in
